Research Interests
Lungu is an IT professional with six years of hands-on experience in data management, database development, and research fieldwork supervision in social science research projects. Lungu has undertaken major research work in designing complex databases and data entry forms, and has expanded his work from data management into fieldwork supervision and into the development of fieldwork research instruments. As a data manager, Lungu has been managing research data, developing complex research database, creating data entry forms using different appropriate software, data cleaning, conducting preliminary data analysis, and writing monthly field reports. As a field supervisor, Lungu has also been upfront laying local foundations in aspects such as fieldwork logistics, translations and back-translations of survey instruments and recruitment of personnel in liaison with the project director.
